How We Authenticate
We sell two kinds of item, and every listing tells you which one you're buying:
- Signed in our presence. Obtained at a signing attended by us or by our partners, often with photographic or a video record of the signature being made.
- Authenticated by Autograph World LLC. Examined and certified by Autograph World LLC of Nevada, USA. Celebrity Collectables is their exclusive agent in the Middle East. Every item leaves us with a Certificate Of Authenticity (COA) carrying a unique catalogue number. A digital copy of every certificate we've ever issued is kept on permanent file.
- Authenticated by a third party. In this instance, item(s) will be verified by Celebrity Collectables as genuine and provenance will be obtained where possible, such as documentation from the original owner as to how they obtained the items and on what basis, or, documentation from a third party authenticator. Celebrity Collectables will always scrutinise incoming artefacts to ensure they are genuine. We do not purchase or knowingly offer for sale items we will not stand by as genuine.
